Abstract

Background  of this research is competition among television stations is happening now. To improve the competitiveness  between television stations, it is not rare television company producing program-themed  reality  show that  romance  in the search  arena  attraction  mate  as the television station. The purpose of this study is to investigate student attitudes towards the contents of Al-Azhar program reality show Take Me Out Indonesia in Indosiar.

The theory used in this research is theory Stimulus-Organism-Response. The method used in this research is survey method with quantitative approach which is descriptive. The population in this study were students of the Faculty of Communication University of Al-Azhar Indonesia. In this study, researchers using the sampling technique nonprobability sampling with sampling purposive manner.

The results showed that the students of the Faculty of Communication University of Al-Azhar Indonesia, Jakarta has a neutral attitude with percentage of 69.1% and 30.9% positive for the content of programs from Take Me Out of Indonesia. So the religious background of students can not form a negative attitude, in other words the students of the Faculty of Communication University of Al-Azhar Indonesia Jakarta received by both the content of programs Take Me Out Indonesia in Indosiar.
