Perancangan Sistem Pemesanan Makanan Berbasis Web pada Aplikasi MYC Food

Abstract

Mission Youth for Christ (MYC) is a youth service organization at Universitas Pelita Harapan that
serves around 2,500 dormitory residents. MYC provides three meals a day through a booking system
that still uses Google Forms, leading to various administrative challenges such as manual ordering,
repetitive data entry, and time-consuming payment verification processes. To address these challenges,
the proposed system includes features for food ordering, user management, transaction report
management, and bank account transfer integration to simplify payments. The research findings
indicate that this system can improve the efficiency of the food ordering and pickup processes, as well
as automatically calculate fines for residents who are late. Additionally, this system can reduce
administrative errors and improve the accuracy of transaction records. Further developments, such as
notification and reminder features, are also recommended to enhance the system's functionality
