Abstract

Learning process and medical practice must have a leadership spirit which is an
absolute value. The main role of leadership is to influence others by planning and organizing to
achieve predetermined goals. In the education, success is greatly influenced by the leadership in
terms of managing the available educational personnel. One of things that influence success with
the leadership style that is carried out. The leadership styles include: democratic, pacesetting,
authoritative, affiliative, coaching, and commandin. The leadership style can be applied
according to the situation and conditions that are being faced, so that the educational goals that
have been set can be achieved effectively and efficiently.
