Abstract

The rapid development of technology makes the education system in Indonesia more advanced and
better as expected. The education system continues to experience development, which initially only
used conventional systems, now shifted to fully digital systems, likewise the teaching and learning
process only occurs in classrooms, now the teaching and learning process is not bound by time
and space. In compiling and developing learning content, lecturers must pay attention to the
dimensions of content which include factual, conceptual, procedural, and metacognitive
knowledge, so that the learning content guarantees the competence of student learning outcomes
as a whole in terms of knowledge, processes and student values. In addition, instructional content
must include cognitive, affective, and psychomotor aspects. Compulsory university courses at UPN
Veteran Jakarta in concocting learning material content must be more interesting and able to give
enthusiasm / motivation for students to be more interested in learning them. In the process of
cultural education and national character, students actively develop their potential, carry out the
internalization process, and live the values into their personalities in socializing in society, develop
a more prosperous community life, and develop a dignified national life. With the above
background, the title in this study is the Analysis of Learning Content for University Compulsory
Subjects Based on State Defense Characters at UPN Veteran Jakarta.
