Kematangan Emosi Dan Konformitas Teman Sebaya Dengan Perilaku Agresif Pada Remaja Di Kelurahan X Kabupaten Bekasi

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study which aims to examine the relationship between
emotional maturity and conformity, the relationship between peer conformity and
aggressive behaviour, and the relationship between emotional maturity and peer
conformity with aggressive behaviour. The subjects in this study were adolescents in
Kelurahan X Kabupaten Bekasi. The study used a sampling technique with quota
sampling and respondents got as many as 200 subject. This study uses 3 measuring
instrument scales, namely: emotional maturity measuring instrument scale, peer
conformity scale, and aggressive behaviour measuring instrument scale. The results of
the study produced a significant relationship between emotional maturity and aggressive
behaviour in the negaitve direction with r = (-0.150) and p = 0.034 <p = 0.05, a
significant relationship between peer conformity and aggressive behaviour in the positve
direction with the relationship r = 0.466 and p = 0.000 <p = 0.05, and a significant
relationship between emotional maturity and peer conformity with aggressive behaviour
by obtaining data of R = 0.573, R2 = 0.326, and p = 0.000 <p = 0.05
