Abstract

The availability of tour buses is an important factor for bus companies to maintain the quality, quantity and sustainability of tourism bus data. PO. Pandawa 87 Cianjur, is a bus company in the tourism bus rental service sector. Problems that often arise result in slow information about the tour buses that are still available and those that have been chartered also slow down the preparation of rental reports. The design that is done is to use the waterfall software development design model and is implemented based on the web. With this application, it can facilitate the management of buses and the following scheduling so that the availability of these tourist buses can increase the effectiveness of tourism bus data management so that the information generated is accurate and actual. In terms of efficiency, online management can be done because the system built can be accessed online because it is made web-based. Prospective tenants can make a booking order with the facility to choose the bus they want and the schedule can be determined based on the availability of buses available in the bus pool. In addition to scheduling, functional requirements are displayed in this application, driver management, conductor management, prospective tenants can perform rental simulations before renting a bus, and this application is able to generate reports to be given to branch heads with a filtering system based on the desired report date, so that branch heads can easily carry out analysis related to bus management operations.
