Abstract

Aircrafts fly in various condition, as well as changing in temperature and altitude, causing
extra low
temperature reaching up to minus or below zero degree centigrade (-˚C),cruising in this condition
aircraft experience icing, a condition where ice crystal grow on the surface of the aircraft skin.
This condition affects aircraft flying performance, an anti icing system is required to protect
aircraft’s component. It is a system that functions to prevent the forming of ice crystals,thus a
design of hardware and software is made for anti icing electrical design on Air Foil Clark Y based
on arduino, then being tested in several cases variously, ampere measurement test is conducted five
times, with starting temperature from 9˚C up to 5˚C and achieved average curent is 16.85A,
duration of stable temperature decreasing is 3 seconds, resulted voltage of 10.4 volt during
