Abstract

Village administration requires communication tools capable of conveying information clearly and accessibly to the public. Information regarding administrative services, government activities, development projects, community empowerment, schedules, and village announcements needs to be disseminated through appropriate channels. One simple yet effective medium is an information board or notice board. This community service initiative aimed to provide an information board for the Sumurbandung Village Office, serving as a sustainable public communication tool. The project involved observation, needs assessment, design planning, material preparation, fabrication, installation, content organization, and evaluation. A participatory approach was employed to ensure the board's design and function aligned with the needs of both the village government and the community. The results demonstrate that the information board effectively supports information dissemination at the Sumurbandung Village Office. It serves as a platform for displaying announcements, activity schedules, service information, work programs, photo documentation, and community-related updates. Beyond facilitating direct access to information for residents, the board enables content to be organized in a structured manner and easily updated. Sustaining these benefits requires consistent management and regular content updates. Ultimately, the information board supports public service delivery and information transparency while enhancing the quality of communication between the village government and the community.
