Psikoedukasi Anti Bullying di SDN 1 Sumurbandung

Abstract

Bullying in elementary schools is a serious issue that can disrupt students' psychological development and academic achievement. SDN 1 Sumurbandung, as an educational institution in a semi-rural area, faces challenges related to the normalization of verbal and physical violence among students, which is often considered mere "joking." This community service activity, conducted by KKM Group 78 of Universitas Bina Bangsa (UNIBA), aims to implement an anti-bullying psychoeducation program to build character, increase empathy, and create a safe learning environment. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), which includes initial observation, interactive psychoeducation sessions (storytelling, role-play, and games), and the establishment of a student anti-bullying task force. The results show a significant increase in students' understanding of the difference between joking and bullying, increased empathy towards peers, and the active role of teachers in creating a responsive reporting system. This activity proves that age-appropriate interactive psychoeducation is an effective preventive strategy in rural elementary schools. This program is expected to be a sustainable model for creating a Child-Friendly School.
