Efektivitas Pelatihan Literasi Digital terhadap Pemberdayaan Perempuan Kepala Keluarga di Kelurahan Baktijaya, Depok
Abstrak
This community outreach program was initiated in response to the limited digital competence
observed among female household heads, aiming to strengthen their digital capabilities as a means
of supporting family economic independence in Baktijaya Sub-district, Depok. Given that today's
economy is increasingly driven by technology, mastery of digital tools has become an essential
requirement rather than an option. To meet this need, the implementation team developed an
interactive, practice-based training program and used pre- and post-training questionnaires to measure its effectiveness. The program involved twenty participants, most of whom were of
productive age (31–45 years), had completed education ranging from senior high school to
associate degree level, were married with children, and worked either as homemakers or
independent business operators. Quantitatively, participants' average scores rose markedly, from
65.6 percent prior to the training to a complete 100 percent afterward. The most notable
improvement was recorded in participants' understanding of online marketplace platforms, with
nine additional participants demonstrating mastery, followed by WhatsApp Business, where eight
more participants gained proficiency. Qualitative observations further revealed a shift in
participants' perception of digital technology, moving away from viewing it merely as
entertainment toward recognizing its strategic role in strengthening household economic resilience.
Overall, the outreach activity proved effective in enhancing digital literacy while simultaneously
paving the way toward greater economic independence for women serving as heads of households.
