motivash nasabah dalam memilih pembiayaan tanpa bunga di PNM Mekaar Syariah Ulaweng cinnong
Abstract
This study aims to examine customers’ motivation in choosing interest-free financing at PNM Mekaar Syariah in Ulaweng Cinnong Village and to understand how their knowledge of Islamic financing principles influences their decisions. The study employed a qualitative descriptive approach. Primary data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation involving 10 PNM Mekaar Syariah customers. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show five major factors motivating customers to choose interest-free financing: religious factors, economic factors, ease of financing access, social environmental influence, and service quality. Religious and economic factors were the most dominant. Customers also demonstrated an understanding of several basic Islamic financing principles, including the avoidance of riba, clear contracts and agreements, honesty and transparency, fairness, and the role of financing in supporting business development. This understanding strengthened customers’ sense of security and trust in Islamic financing. The findings indicate that customers’ decisions are not based solely on capital needs, but arise from the interaction of economic needs, religious values, social environment, accessibility, and service experiences.
