Pengaruh Pelatihan Kerja dan Pengembangan Karier Terhadap Kompetensi Karyawan Pada Koperasi Mitra Dhuafa Lebak
Abstract
Employee competence is a crucial factor for organizational sustainability, particularly for cooperatives operating with limited resources. Koperasi Mitra Dhuafa Lebak faces challenges in improving employee competence, as reflected by the fact that some employees have not yet met the required competency standards due to limited access to training, insufficient work experience, and inadequate ability to use work systems. This study aims to analyze the effect of job training and career development on employee competence, both partially and simultaneously. This research employed a quantitative approach with an associative research design. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 72 employees of Koperasi Mitra Dhuafa Lebak as respondents. The data were analyzed using validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, simple and multiple linear regression analyses, correlation coefficient analysis, coefficient of determination analysis, t-test, and F-test with the assistance of SPSS version 32.0. The results of the t-test indicate that job training has a positive and significant effect on employee competence, with a t-value of 11.956 greater than the t-table value of 1.994 and asignificance value of < 0.001. Career development also has a positive and significant effect on employee competence, with a t-value of 10.476 greater than the t-table value of 1.994 and a significance value of < 0.001. Simultaneously, job training and career development have a positive and significant effect on employee competence, with an F-value of 89.690 greater than the F-table value of 3.13 and a coefficient of determination of 72.2%. In conclusion, job training and career development significantly contribute to improving employee competence at Koperasi Mitra Dhuafa Lebak.
