Abstrak

The introduction of digital services in the childcare sector presents challenges for parents in finding
babysitters who meet criteria such as trustworthiness, skills, and availability. Traditional search
methods are often inefficient and lack transparency. To address this issue, a technology-based system
is needed to facilitate a more effective search process. This study develops a web-based marketplace
using the Extreme Programming (XP) method to ensure a flexible and responsive system that meets
user needs. With features such as babysitter search based on location, rates, and experience, along with
user reviews and background verification, this system aims to provide a safer and more professional
solution for parents while offering opportunities for babysitters to reach more clients
