Sistem Informasi Pendaftaran Beasiswa Berbasis Web

Abstrak

In managing scholarships, Politeknik Lamandau has not optimized website-based scholarship registration information.
Scholarship registration still uses conventional methods. Students get scholarship information from flyers posted on the
bulletin board. If a student wants to apply for a scholarship, then he must come to the Faculty of Engineering secretariat to
fill out a paper scholarship registration form, and carry out other procedures. In the growing digital era, web-based
information systems are an efficient solution in various fields, including scholarship registration. This research aims to
design and develop a web-based scholarship registration information system using the PHP programming language,
MySQL database, and Bootstrap framework. The methodology used in developing this system is the waterfall method which
includes the stages of needs analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance. The result of this research
is an information system that allows prospective scholarship recipients to register online more easily and structured, and
facilitates the organizers in managing registration data. With this system, it is expected that the scholarship registration
process can be carried out more efficiently and transparently.
