ANALISIS DAN PERANCANGAN SISTEM PEMBELAJARAN ELEKTRONIK BERBASIS WEB PUSDIKLAT MANAJEMEN PERTAHANAN

Abstrak

The Defense Management Education and Training Center (Pusdiklat Manajemen
Pertahanan) faces challenges with the effectiveness of its existing Learning Management System
(LMS). Two fundamental problems were identified: the system interface (UI) is considered less
intuitive, and academic administration, particularly participant attendance, is still conducted
manually. This manual practice carries a high risk of data errors and hinders administrative
efficiency. This research aims to analyze and redesign a web-based e-learning system that is more
user-friendly and integrates academic administration digitally. The system development method
used is Rapid Application Development (RAD). Data was collected through observation and
interviews. System modeling utilized the Unified Modeling Language (UML), and the prototype
was validated using black box testing. The result of this research is a comprehensive system
design. First, an interface design focused on improving accessibility, structured layout, and
logical interaction flow was produced. Second, the system design integrates academic and
administrative processes, from digitizing attendance to supporting comprehensive monitoring and
evaluation. This system is designed to allow Leadership and Supervisors to monitor participant
progress in real-time, determine graduation, and issue automatic digital certificates. The main
recommendations from this research are for the resulting prototype to be followed up to the
implementation stage and for the "Monitoring & Laporan" feature to be strengthened by adding a
security audit log module
