HUBUNGAN KECEMASAN DAN KECERDASAN EMOSIONAL DENGAN KECENDERUNGAN PERILAKU AGRESIVITAS ANAK JALANAN DI SEKOLAH MASTER INDONESIA DEPOK
Abstract
This study aims to determine the relationship of anxiety and emotional intelligence with the
tendency towards aggressive behavior of street children who attend the Indonesian Master
High School in Depok. This research uses quantitative research methods. The population of
this study is 154 street children in the high school Masters. Sampling using simple random
sampling is by looking at the Morgan Table table so that 108 students are sampled. Data
collection uses a Likert scale questionnaire to measure the tendency of aggressive behavior,
the HARS (Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale) to measure anxiety, and the TEIQue-ASF (Trait
Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire-Adolescent Short Form) scale to measure emotional
intelligence. Data is processed using SPSS version 22.0 for windows. The results showed a
relationship between anxiety and emotional intelligence with the tendency of the behavior of
the aggressiveness of street children in the Indonesian Master School in Depok with a
correlation coefficient (R) of 0.232 and P = 0.000 (p <0.05).
