Peran Orang Tua Dan Peran Guru Terhadap Pendidikan Karakter
Abstract
The education which is taught in every Adventist schools is education based on faith and love
to serve spirit that reflect the character of GOD in humans. In the process of realizing a whole
human, healthy in body, mind, spirit and social, the personality will be formed and colored by the
environment, their parents (family), teachers (schools), and their environment.
The aim of this research to know how the Role of Parents and the Role of Teachers influence
Student Character Education. This research using a questionnaire technique which aims to
objectively determine the role of parents and the role of teachers in student character education,
case study in SMP and SMA Advents Teachers in DKI Jakarta province.
The results are there was a positive and significant influence between the role of parents and
the student character education. And so is between the Role of Teachers and Student Character
Education. There is a positive, significant influence, and a weak correlation between the role of
parents on student character education if the role of teachers is controlled. There is a positive,
significant influence, and strong correlation between the Role of Teachers on Student Character
Education if the role of parents is controlled.
