Hubungan Privacy Concern dan Tipe Kepribadian Introvert Terhadap Self-disclosure Pada Pengguna Second Account Intagram di Kelas X SMAN 18 Kota Bekasi

Abstract

The study aims to determine the relationship between privacy concern and introverted
personality with self-disclosure in Instagram second account users in class X SMA 18
Bekasi City. The population in this study were all students of class X, totaling 330 students.
The sampling technique uses the census method or total sampling. The data collection
method was in the form of a questionnaire with a Likert scale with 3 scales: 20 items of
self-disclosure scale, 12 items of privacy concern scale, and 57 items of personality type
scale. Data analysis techniques used bivariate correlation and multivariate correlation
methods using IBM SPSS Statistics. The research results show a positive and significant
relationship between privacy concern and self-disclosure with r = 0.363. There is a
negative and significant relationship between introvert personality and self-disclosure with
r = ̶0.929. There is a positive and significant relationship between privacy concern, and
introvert personality with self-disclosure in second Instagram account users in class X
SMAN 18 Bekasi City with R = 0.997 and R square = 0.994, showing the contribution of
privacy concern, and introverted personality to self-disclosure in second Instagram
account users in class X SMAN 18 Bekasi City by 99.4%.
