HUBUNGAN KUALITAS PERTEMANAN DAN SELF DISCLOSURE DENGAN SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING PADA REMAJA PUTRI KELAS XII DI SMA NEGERI ‘X’ KOTA BEKASI

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to determine the correlate between friendship quality
and self disclosure with subjective well-being in 12th grade female adolensece in SMA
Negeri X Bekasi. The population in this research amounted to 204 students, and as
many as 136 students were sampled for this research. The sampling technique was
carried out using simple random sampling method with characteristic: adolescent aged
16-18 years old, having close friends/in group. The measuring instruments used were
subjective well-being scale with 27 item (?=,933), friendship quality scale with 25 item
(?=,806), and self disclosure scale with 31 item (?=0,928) using SPSS 22.0 for
windows. Bivariate Correlation result showed that there is a positive correlation
between friendship quality and subjective well being with correlation coefficient of r =
0,33, and there is a positive correlation between self disclosure and subjective well
being with correlation coefficient of r = 0,264. Furthermore, the result of data
analysis with multivariate correlation showed that there is correlation between
friendship quality and self disclosure with subjective well-being obtained correlation
coefficient R = 0,344 with significance level p =0,00 < 0,05. Based on regression test
result with enter mode obtained multiple correlation coefficient R2 = 0,112 which is
indicate that friendsip quality variable dan self disclosure variable are contribute in
the amount of 11,2% towards subjective well-being variable.
