ANALISIS KESALAHAN UNSUR BAHASA DALAM KARANGAN DESKRIPSI BAHASA INGGRIS SISWA SMP NEGERI DI KABUPATEN KARAWANG

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the mistakes that often occur in writing
description texts written by Grade VIII students at SMPN 1 Telukjambe Timur and
SMPN Satu Atap 1 Rawamerta. This research uses descriptive qualitative research
methods because researchers want to analyze the error analysis in a description text
written by students. . After analyzing the descriptive writing the researchers found that
the language elements analyzed were found 42.4% omission errors (omission, 13.7
addition errors), 19.17 in structure, and 24.2 errors in sentence structure (misordering).
From the presentation, the most common one is omission.
