Abstract

Interactive learning media is very necessary for learning science material in elementary
school and so that it is easier for students to understand. With the advancement of increasingly
sophisticated computer programming technology, it is now very possible to use it to create
quality learning media and attract students' attention in learning. The development of interactive
media, one of which is through Scratch programming, can make this happen, which can be
accessed and studied via the internet network. The research focuses on developing interactive
media for Magnet material using Scratch programming to make the material presented more fun
for students to learn. Interactive media development using the DDR method through the ADDIE
model. Observation activities, interviews and questionnaire instruments are used to obtain data
which will later be quantitatively descriptively analyzed. The results of research on the process of
needs analysis, expert validation, and testing on students prove that the development of Magnet
interactive media with Scratch programming created can be a good enough alternative media to
be used in delivering Magnet material in the lecture process to increase understanding of the
