Abstract

The rapid online buying and selling transactions have shifted the shopping trend of
customers from conventional to online shopping. No exception for customers in rural areas. The
hobby of online shopping among rural communities is also supported by the easier and cheaper
technology used. Some of the negative impacts of online shopping culture are the disparity
between neighbors (especially neighbors who own a shop / shop) and the decline in the income
of the village community who owns the shop. To minimize the gap between neighbors, it is
necessary to build an online shopping system (e-commerce) for rural communities which of
course will have the potential to increase the income of the village community.
E-commerce is also an initial step towards a smart village. The methodology that is planned
in the development of this system is to use SDLC (system development life cycle). For the design
crew steps in this study include analysis and design. The analysis consists of analysis of
functional and non-functional requirements. The design uses UML (unified modeling language).
The results of this study are in the form of analysis and system design that will be used for
the development of village e-commerce. With the analysis and design documents, of course, it
will be a strong foundation towards the system development stage. And also a tool to uniform the
perceptions of all stakeholders who intersect with the system.
