Abstract

Homemade by Hanin is a micro, small, and medium enterprise (MSME) in the dessert sector that still records its finances manually, making it prone to errors, difficult to recapitulate systematically, and unable to monitor cash flow comprehensively. This research designs and builds a web-based financial recording system and implements Chart.js in a cashflow visualization dashboard so that financial information is presented interactively and is easy to understand. The system was developed using the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) Waterfall model, with ReactJS as the frontend and MongoDB as the database. Black-box testing shows all test scenarios obtained an “Accepted” status, while beta testing with five respondents obtained a score of 132 out of an ideal 150, or 88%, categorized as “Strongly Agree.” The Chart.js-based MSME cashflow dashboard is thus proven able to replace manual recording, improve financial management efficiency, and help owners make faster, more accurate, data-driven decisions.
