basic human needs. Not just a place to live, but a decent place to live. Because with a decent
place to live, a harmonious family can be formed. The family consists of parents and children.
Children are children in a marriage. For child marketers not only serve as a target market, but
also as a media for promotion. In the 90s in the Bobo children's magazine, the first time in
history in Indonesia a car company placed an ad in the magazine. Magazines aimed at children
contain car advertisements. Not only that, the magazine also included a bonus in the form of a
folding paper preview which when folded and pasted would form a car. This is very interesting,
children who do not have the purchasing power but have the ability to influence their parents in
purchasing a product. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of children in the decision making process of purchasing a home. The results showed the child has an influence in
the decision-making process of purchasing a home in a family, both directly and indirectly.
