EKRANISASI KARYA SASTRA TRAVELING SEBAGAI MEDIA PROMOSI WISATA INDONESIA
Abstract
This research is about the expansion of traveling literary works as a medium for
promoting Indonesian tourism. This research is to find out three traveling literary
works which were chosen as research objects. The novel has carried out
ekranisasi or conversion of the novel into a film that is able to become a tourist
promotion media. This research methodology uses a qualitative descriptive
method, in this study using a questionnaire and interview aids, in addition toseeing firsthand the situation at the study site in accordance with the novel and
film expansion. Data collection techniques with the study of literature to
determine 3 novels through ecranization (transfer of novels into films), as well as
conducting surveys at locations told in the novel and changing the film. The
results showed that the novel Laskar Pelangi, 5 cm, and in the 1990s were studied
with promotion theory relating to informing, influencing, and persuading. the
three novels are able to implement 3 promotional points, so that the attractions
told in the novel can bring tourists. The rainbow warriors in Belitung succeeded
in bringing tourists not only in the rainbow laskar (sailing stone island), but also
brought tourists to other location objects. The process of ekranisasi 5 cm novel
into a big screen film succeeded in making the audience affected and persuaded
to see first hand the location contained in the film. Ekranisasi from the Dilan
1990 novel brings tourists to the Asia-Africa road in Bandung, a location that is
used as a tourist center for visitors to Bandung. This is a tourist promotion tool,
because it can increase the number of tourists at these locations. Belitung, which
has never been known to the public, is now a tourist attraction for the community.
