Abstract

A Smart Building is a building that can facilitate humans and its users. The
application of Smart Building in buildings is not only about inserting sophisticated
machines and computers into a building, but also how the system is designed as a
whole in the building. In the design of the Batik Museum building, the use of
modern tools and Information Systems aims to develop the Museum and also
support the energy efficiency movement. The flow of human circulation is regulated
using automatic doors and communicative symbols that can be quickly changed as
needed. The research methods in this design are comparative studies and literacy
studies. Direct observation of buildings that have already used Smart Building
theory aims to provide consideration in determining what can be applied to the
design of this Batik Museum
